Requirements
- Have 5+ years of accounting and reporting experience under IFRS and US GAAP.
- Demonstrate judgment in critically reviewing financial statements and identifying accounting or process gaps.
- Have higher education in economics or a related field.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have advanced Excel skills.
- Have working experience with database tools and ERP or consolidation systems.
- Have project management skills and experience coordinating complex financial projects or system implementations.
- Have AI Fluency Level 3 or equivalent hands-on experience redesigning how you or your team work with AI and verifying its output.
- ACCA, CIMA, or a similar accounting qualification is a nice to have.
- Experience with transaction accounting or M&A is a nice to have.
- Experience working with auditors on controls-heavy or SOX-related work is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting judgment on complex transactions and new arrangements under IFRS and US GAAP, including financial due diligence.
- Prepare accounting memos that hold up to audit scrutiny.
- Lead implementation and integration of new ERP and consolidation systems and their accounting processes.
- Build internal controls for SOX implementation.
- Own accounting policies and procedures alongside Reporting.
- Redesign technical analysis, reconciliations, and policy reviews using AI.
- Build AI-supported approaches that the wider team can follow and verify AI outputs.
- Work with external auditors through audit engagements.
- Support preparation of the annual report.
