Experience: 5–8 years in Tools/Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure role, including 3–5 years hands-on with monitoring/alerting tooling; 3+ years building integrations against APIs/webhooks; 2–3 years building or substantially modifying operational dashboards

Have 5–8 years of experience in Tools/Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure role.
Have 3–5 years of hands-on monitoring and alerting experience, including Icinga or equivalent NMS, Grafana, and at least one SIEM platform.
Have 3+ years of experience building integrations against APIs and webhooks.
Have scripting ability in Python or a similar language.
Have 2–3 years of experience building or substantially modifying operational dashboards.
Have experience with Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, or similar dashboard tools.
Understand ticketing and ITSM workflow tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Mattermost, and how alert priority and severity map to ticket fields.
Be able to rapidly map and consolidate a multi-team monitoring and alerting environment.
Preferred: Have exposure to multi-provider or multi-datacenter operational environments.
Preferred: Have experience supporting or building for a NOC/SOC or similar 24x7 operations function.

Map alert sources across Systems, Network, and Security engineering and identify the appropriate integration point for each.
Build and maintain the routing and forwarding layer for priority alerts into GIOC ticketing and paging tools.
Validate alert-routing logic with engineering SMEs against each pillar's resolve-versus-escalate boundaries.
Own on-call and notification wiring so critical alerts reach GIOC within agreed acknowledgment SLAs.
Design and build a unified operational dashboard across Airtel, Nextra, Equinix, QTS, and CoreSite platforms.
Define dashboard v1 scope with GIOC and pillar leads, then deliver it on a committed milestone.
Run legacy tools alongside the new dashboard during transition to preserve visibility.
Build SLA and health visualizations for acknowledgment time, escalation accuracy, and open-alert aging.
Build correlation engines and integrate telemetry from product teams.
Document the routing architecture and dashboard for ongoing maintenance by GIOC or the Tools team.
