Job Details

Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience using Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint; at least 5 years of accounting or finance experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry firm; at least 2 years of consulting experience.

Have at least 5 years of accounting or finance experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry firm.
Have at least 2 years of consulting experience, preferably serving external clients or managing Deltek systems internally within a finance department.
Bring strong working knowledge of chart of accounts, general ledger accounts, and posting processes.
Understand cash management, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and time and expense entry and approval.
Understand billing, invoice processing, project budgeting, revenue recognition, labor rate and category tables, and overhead allocation.
Have intermediate proficiency with financial reporting and dashboards.
Have basic knowledge of multi-company environments, project planning integration with finance, advanced revenue generation methods, intercompany transactions and consolidations, and custom workflows and approval processes.
Have cross-functional understanding of resource planning, project management, or CRM systems.
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving ability to assess financial workflows and translate business requirements into system solutions.
Demonstrate client relationship, communication, leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Deltek Vantagepoint Accounting or Master Certification is preferred.

Advise clients on business needs and recommend solutions to improve financial operations and system performance.
Lead and support Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint implementations, provide consultative training, and troubleshoot technical and functional issues.
Guide clients in adopting effective system practices and advise on accounting and financial workflows.
Maintain project documentation, coordinate internal resources, monitor budgets, and deliver work on time and within agreed financial parameters.
Maintain client relationships, resolve concerns, monitor satisfaction, and meet quality standards.
Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and contribute to marketing materials, user group meetings, and sales support.
Mentor consultants and share technical and functional expertise.
Develop client deliverables outlining findings, recommendations, and opportunities to improve financial processes and technology use.
