Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of experience in product management or product development.
- Have at least 5 years of experience leading product managers and managing a substantial product portfolio.
- Bring recent, practical experience using AI-assisted prototyping or coding tools and be able to demonstrate a personally developed product, prototype, or solution.
- Demonstrate success launching and scaling consumer, small-business, or self-service SaaS products with measurable improvements in activation, conversion, retention, or revenue.
- Bring a strong understanding of mobile product development and user experience, including iOS or Android design principles, subscriptions, app-store distribution, and product experimentation.
- Be comfortable with AI-assisted development tools and technical concepts, and collaborate closely with engineering and design teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to translate business objectives into product strategies, prioritize investments, interpret performance data, and make informed decisions.
- Show the ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and develop product managers.
- Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder influence, and the ability to manage complex trade-offs.
- Bring empathy for small-business owners and the ability to make complex financial processes simple, intuitive, and reliable.
- Experience developing and scaling products in payments, fintech, accounting, or financial services is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the long-term product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and measurable delivery commitments.
- Evolve the invoicing platform into a financial operating system for invoices, payments, expenses, bookkeeping, and financial decisions.
- Develop AI-powered capabilities for invoice creation, payment follow-ups, expense organization, and financial insights.
- Champion AI-native development practices, including prototyping, analysis, experimentation, and rapid delivery of working solutions.
- Partner with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders to improve acquisition, activation, paid conversion, retention, payment adoption, and revenue.
- Optimize the customer journey across app-store discovery, onboarding, subscriptions, payments, and engagement on mobile and web.
- Establish product quality standards for simplicity, usability, reliability, transparency, and security.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead product managers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Payments, and Customer Experience teams to align priorities and deliver products.
- Promote data-driven decisions, rapid experimentation, performance measurement, and investment based on customer value and business impact.
