Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of professional experience as a Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Architect, or Senior Technical Consultant.
- Bring experience in managed services, systems integration, technology consulting, or similar environments.
- Have experience designing complex, multi-technology solutions in client-facing consulting or pre-sales roles.
- Demonstrate the ability to turn sales-qualified opportunities into technically validated, commercially viable, delivery-ready proposals.
- Have expertise in SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and VMware VeloCloud.
- Know enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, network segmentation, and WAN-to-SD-WAN migrations.
- Understand Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft licensing, Defender, Sentinel, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Have architectural experience with Azure and/or AWS, including IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, cloud migration, governance, security, and cost optimization.
- Have experience with resource planning, effort estimation, solution costing, and project scoping.
- Be able to produce architecture designs, Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, proposals, and implementation plans.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience; have at least 15 years of formal education.
- Relevant certifications are preferred, including CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, or TOGAF.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate sales-qualified opportunities by validating client requirements, technical feasibility, project scope, and delivery expectations.
- Lead client discussions and present technical proposals, architecture blueprints, implementation strategies, and technology roadmaps.
- Design end-to-end solutions across SD-WAN, enterprise networking, Microsoft product ecosystems, and cloud implementation services.
- Develop network architectures covering routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, network segmentation, and SD-WAN.
- Design Microsoft solutions involving Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Develop Azure and AWS solutions across IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Estimate resource requirements and implementation effort, and contribute to solution costing and commercial proposals.
- Prepare architecture documentation, Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, technical proposals, and implementation roadmaps.
- Coordinate with delivery teams, engineers, project managers, vendors, and partners, and provide implementation handover and knowledge transfer.
