Requirements
- Have a firm understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation.
- Be proficient in Adobe After Effects.
- Be proficient in Figma.
- Be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Be proficient in Premiere.
- Demonstrate animation ability through a strong motion reel or portfolio.
- Know various A/V formats and when to use them.
- Have an interest in or experience experimenting with frame-by-frame (cel) animation, 3D animation and rendering, AI design and animation tools, realtime motion graphics, basic scripting/Expressions, video editing, or audio production.
- Embrace challenges and new methods of thinking.
- Bring a friendly, collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure motion work exceeds client expectations.
- Use animation, editing, and post-production tools to produce quality work that meets specifications.
- Respond to client and creative feedback with solutions that address the underlying creative challenges.
- Become proficient in Hook's daily tools and workflows.
- Communicate clearly and frequently with teammates to maintain project cohesion.
- Engage in company initiatives and discussions to advance skills.
- Seek opportunities to enrich the culture within the department and organization.
