Requirements
- Have 3–10 years of professional software engineering experience, including developing, deploying, and maintaining production web applications or services.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in at least one modern language, particularly Python or TypeScript.
- Apply solid software design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Have experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and backend services.
- Be familiar with databases, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
- Have practical experience developing document processing workflows and integrating AI or LLM capabilities into production applications.
- Have knowledge of software testing, code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and production reliability practices.
- Bring frontend development experience and the ability to collaborate across the full technology stack.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs, backend services, and document processing workflows.
- Own product features from technical planning and design through implementation, release, and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to address complex user needs and specialized workflows.
- Integrate AI and Large Language Model capabilities into production systems, balancing output quality, processing speed, and reliability.
- Improve user-facing interfaces and experiences for complex document-related tasks.
- Translate user requirements into engineering plans and communicate technical decisions, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Investigate production issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and improve system stability.
- Strengthen engineering standards through testing, code reviews, debugging, monitoring, and continuous code-quality improvements.
