Requirements
- Have 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Bring strong backend engineering skills and database experience.
- Have solid experience writing and maintaining automated tests, including E2E tests.
- Have experience building and running production systems.
- Be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership.
- Have a strong problem-solving mindset and look beyond tickets.
- Have experience with Web APIs.
- Be available during EMEA working hours.
- React experience is a nice to have.
- CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar is a nice to have.
- Experience with background jobs, AWS, or complex integrations is a nice to have.
- Capybara experience is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Own features from implementation to production within a well-defined product scope.
- Build and maintain Ruby on Rails systems used at scale.
- Work with product colleagues and other engineers to solve user problems.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E automated tests.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems.
- Take responsibility for the quality and long-term health of the systems you build.
