- Have practical knowledge of AI writing and editing tools and know when human expertise and judgment are essential.
- Have experience creating content for software, SaaS, or other technical products.
- Be able to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging language.
- Work independently, set priorities, make decisions, and evaluate outcomes without detailed instructions.
Responsibilities
- Define content direction, set editorial priorities, and identify valuable topics and formats.
- Edit and improve new and existing content for clarity, accuracy, relevance, and editorial quality.
- Use AI tools for content research, drafting, and editing while applying editorial judgment.
- Lead and support a small team of writers, providing feedback and helping them develop their skills.
- Track content performance and use data to guide improvements.
- Improve content visibility through SEO and AI-powered search optimization, including GEO and AEO strategies.
- Test new topics, formats, and approaches, evaluate results, and scale successful initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, developers, and product teams to turn technical expertise and product knowledge into reader-friendly content.
