Requirements
- Have 6–10 years of professional software development experience and demonstrated expertise across multiple programming languages.
- Have working proficiency to advanced experience with Palantir Foundry, particularly Warp Core.
- Understand software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, programming language theory, software architecture, networking, databases, and design patterns.
- Have experience developing frontend and backend applications and delivering end-to-end software solutions.
- Have experience designing and developing APIs and integrating software components and services.
- Have experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Be comfortable developing, deploying, and troubleshooting applications in Linux environments.
- Be familiar with DevSecOps tools, workflows, and security practices, including Git, Ansible, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Fortify, and ThreadFix.
- Have hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools and knowledge of TDD and agile methodologies.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions using Palantir Foundry, including Warp Core.
- Collaborate with government clients to support design thinking, AI-assisted development, agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and backlog management.
- Translate business and operational challenges into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
- Pair with client developers, engineers, and military personnel to accelerate development and delivery of user stories.
- Release functionality iteratively and incorporate feedback from real users.
- Build delivery metrics and user-focused performance indicators into software systems.
- Apply AI-assisted development, test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Lead engineering discussions, guide technical decisions, manage technical debt, and mentor engineers.
