Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience building and operating production AI systems, with a working grasp of latency, cost, accuracy, and reliability trade-offs.
- Have 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated impact beyond a single team.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have production AWS experience, including Infrastructure as Code such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Have experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native SaaS or multi-tenant platforms at scale, ideally on AWS.
- Have strong software fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Have experience with agent frameworks, agent memory systems, or orchestration of tool-using AI systems.
- Have experience with agentic-AI software development practices.
- Have experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
- Have experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
- Be comfortable working in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate agentic AI systems, including LLM services, retrieval pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, execution runtimes, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
- Build and operate memory infrastructure for agent systems.
- Own LLMOps harnesses, pipelines, and infrastructure to support reliable production systems, including dynamic model selection.
- Build automated evaluation infrastructure that compares offline and online metrics and alerts on drift or regression.
- Build technical controls, telemetry, and guardrails for compliance frameworks.
- Maintain agent definition management APIs and tool registry definitions.
- Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals, and influence technical direction through reviews and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
- Mentor developers and lead responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
