Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Frontend experience with JavaScript and React, Angular, or Vue.
- Backend experience with C#, .NET, or Java.
- Experience implementing cloud solutions with AWS or Azure, including serverless environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing microservices.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs and data retrieval.
- Strong background in SQL or NoSQL, database design, and complex data architectures.
- Proficiency in AWS OpenSearch, including indexing, querying, and search performance optimization.
- Experience using Claude, Cursor, or Codex for AI-first development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Healthcare-sector experience, especially claims processing, is a plus.
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards is a plus.
- iOS and Android app development experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for a healthcare insurance platform.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement features for the healthcare sector.
- Ensure application security, HIPAA and regulatory compliance, performance, and scalability.
- Implement serverless architectures on Azure and AWS to optimize backend functionality.
- Build responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.
- Integrate and customize rules engines for automated decision-making.
- Use microservices architecture to improve scalability, resilience, and deployment efficiency.
- Use GraphQL for flexible data retrieval and application data interactions.
- Mentor junior developers and keep current with technology trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare best practices.
