Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience shipping production software with end-to-end ownership.
- Be proficient in frontend and backend development, including Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Have experience taking LLM features to production, including architecture, tool calling, and retrieval.
- Have experience evaluating AI systems with golden datasets, offline and online checks, regression and hallucination testing, and tool-call correctness.
- Know SQL, streaming, concurrency, and system design, and be able to reason about scale and cost.
- Have experience with voice or real-time systems, such as STT/TTS, barge-in, latency budgets, or telephony.
- Be comfortable working as an early-stage engineer without an established playbook.
- Have reliable remote-work connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Scope customer problems and build full-stack solutions.
- Deploy solutions and monitor production behavior.
- Develop voice and email agents, including speech pipelines, LLM orchestration, and reliable tool use.
- Build and maintain retrieval, evaluation, and testing systems for AI features.
- Design for streaming, concurrency, latency, scale, and cost.
- Investigate production failures.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and independently check their output.
