Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience at a senior level.
- Hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting on-premise infrastructure, including hardware and infrastructure-level issues.
- Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Recent production experience with Go, including developing tools, exporters, automation solutions, or backend services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Solid knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with observability and monitoring technologies, including Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Prometheus, or VictoriaMetrics.
- Ability to work with legacy systems and Windows environments, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and PowerShell.
- Ability to take initiatives from investigation through delivery and measurable results, and to navigate unfamiliar systems independently.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers or hybrid infrastructure, Helm or Helmfile, virtualization platforms, networking, internal developer platforms, or JavaScript/React is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Support and improve infrastructure across on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid environments.
- Develop, maintain, and refactor internal platform tools and services in Go, including a replacement for the existing deployment system.
- Investigate infrastructure environments, identify weaknesses and bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Optimize staging and ephemeral environments for performance, reliability, and operating costs.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Strengthen observability using Grafana, OpenSearch, metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Participate in operational support and troubleshooting as part of a shared team responsibility.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve developer workflows and software delivery.
