Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Have recent, hands-on experience using or building AI harnesses, including agent instructions, tools, MCP servers, skills, hooks, subagents, or evaluations; be able to show what you built or configured.
- Have built and published at least one personal project that is live and usable on the web; a SaaS with working payments is preferred.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of products or features, from an unclear problem to a system people depend on.
- Bring strong full-stack skills in Python and TypeScript across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Be comfortable working in a large, established codebase.
- Have hands-on LLM experience, including tool use, agent orchestration, structured outputs, retrieval, and evaluations.
- Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, and be able to configure them for a codebase, parallelize tasks, and review their output.
- Make sound UI decisions using a component library without a dedicated designer.
- Be able to unblock yourself, seek context, and ask questions when needed.
- Communicate clearly in writing; decisions are made through specifications, pull requests, and tickets.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents and automated workflows for clinic operations, including benefits verification, prior authorizations, patient intake, claims, and clinical documentation.
- Build web and mobile features for clinicians, patients and families, and the internal operations team.
- Define ambiguous problems with operators and clinicians, write specifications, and ship first versions.
- Design services, data models, and APIs, and manage infrastructure as code.
- Deploy, monitor, and respond to incidents for owned production services.
- Write evaluations for model-facing features and track workflow metrics.
- Handle protected health information safely using least-privilege access, keeping PHI out of logs, and making changes auditable.
- Build and maintain engineering skills, plugins, MCP integrations, and review bots for Claude Code and Codex.
