Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required; post-high-school degree preferred.
- At least two years of experience at a financial services firm handling data integrity and performance projects in operations preferred.
- Knowledge of performance reporting, including Time Weighted Return and Dollar Weighted Return, and how transaction data affects reporting, preferred.
- Comfort with portfolio accounting or management systems and CRM systems.
- Orion Advisor Technology and/or Salesforce experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge required.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools and technologies in daily work, including crafting prompts and evaluating AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Ability to integrate AI tools into work while maintaining quality standards and adapt to new AI applications and methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and validate platform data in the portfolio accounting system and support downstream processes.
- Perform data quality audits to identify coding gaps, incomplete setup, and inconsistencies.
- Execute recurring processes and audits to keep platform data accurate and aligned with firm standards.
- Troubleshoot data issues and collaborate across departments to support operational accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Educate advisors on performance calculations compared with other industry methods.
- Partner with advisors and internal conversion teams to build and maintain custom queries.
- Provide timely internal support for questions and requests from multiple teams.
- Assist with projects affecting cost basis, tax reporting, performance, composites, Orion Connect, trading, billing, and reporting.
- Cross-train in other Operations areas as needed.
