Requirements
- Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering, or life science, or equivalent military experience.
- Equivalent military experience must involve mechanical, technical, laboratory, pneumatic, or related instruments.
- At least one year of experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting instrumentation challenges using a variety of methods.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Able to travel up to 70% by air and/or car, including overnight stays; travel is primarily domestic and may occasionally be international.
- Able to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to stand, walk for prolonged periods, sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with hands and arms.
Responsibilities
- Service Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities.
- Cultivate customer relationships and support commercial initiatives.
- Address customer needs promptly, emphasizing first-time fixes through problem-solving.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and upgrades as directed by Beckman Coulter technical staff.
- Increase throughput and decrease downtime.
- Travel by air and/or car, including overnight stays, to support customers.
