Requirements
- Have 5+ years of B2B business development experience and deep relationships in a target industry.
- Have 5+ years in senior sales leadership with a track record of winning in the industry or selling into it.
- Bring industry experience in home services or construction, or another listed target industry.
- Be comfortable building and managing relationships with business owners and C-suite leaders.
- Have experience in high-growth environments and using data and technology to drive results.
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to design a plan and execute it hands-on.
- Be energized by networking and industry events.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, management, communication, or a related field.
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills and be tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools.
Responsibilities
- Own new business for the home services and construction vertical, from first conversation to signed agreement.
- Build and manage a pipeline independently.
- Design the go-to-market approach, including the ideal client profile, offer, pricing conversation, and partnerships.
- Land strategic partnerships and national accounts, then deepen them.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade associations, client visits, and industry dinners.
- Work with Marketing and Customer Experience to align what is sold with what is delivered.
- Use market feedback to shape the offer.
- Help set the strategic direction of the division as new verticals take hold.
