Requirements
- Have post-secondary education in business, human services, public health, or a nursing-related area, or 2–4 years of equivalent experience.
- Have two years of experience working in a clinic or outpatient setting.
- Have two years of supervisory or management experience.
- Have experience working with confidential information.
- Have experience working with high-risk or underserved populations, including youth, women, minorities, or LGBTQ people.
- Be able and willing to travel as needed within PPNCS.
- Be able to work flexible hours matching health center hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Training Team and support a team-based culture that meets health center goals and customer service standards.
- Manage day-to-day Training Team activities, including hiring, staff training, development, performance evaluation, and staff meetings.
- Develop training materials and procedural guides, and coordinate their cataloging and updates with Health Services Leadership.
- Monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Medical Standards and Guidelines, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support staff through business changes and reinforce patient-centered service and service recovery.
- Prepare reports and manage the Training Team financial plan, expenses, and operating plan.
- Collaborate with health centers on process improvement and evaluate results.
- Coordinate training and orientation schedules with the Staffing Team and oversee training components of Health Services initiatives.
- Serve as project manager for assigned Health Services initiatives and work groups.
- Work at least one shift per month supporting health center functions where licensure is not required.
