Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Business, Math, Economics, or a related field is ideal.
- 2+ years of relevant business experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
- Exposure to a variety of business models and functions.
- Exceptional Excel modeling skills and a strong interest in analyzing data.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability, including moving between detailed data and high-level insights.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work efficiently with executive management and front-line employees.
Responsibilities
- Partner across Yelp’s business units to support strategic business decisions with analytically driven insights.
- Provide hands-on analytic support using Excel and other tools, including SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, and Tableau.
- Identify actionable insights and recommend actions using sound business judgment.
- Communicate results and influence business direction across cross-functional groups.
- Create Tableau dashboards to provide visibility into KPIs, marketing effectiveness, and business trends and drivers.
