Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Bring prior experience as a business analyst or in a similar technical role, preferably in the data arena.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Be proficient in requirements gathering and data mapping.
- Have technical skills in data analysis and data profiling tools.
- Understand software development methodologies and be able to work with development workflow tools.
- Be able to manage data projects from inception to completion.
- Use data visualization tools to transform analysis results into dashboards.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs.
- Conduct data needs assessments and analyze data patterns, quality issues, and enrichment opportunities.
- Facilitate meetings with development teams to review and refine functional requirements.
- Develop processes and dashboards to monitor data quality and quality trends.
- Highlight data quality issues to stakeholders and publish data quality reports to leadership.
- Provide business users and stakeholders with updates on development status.
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
