Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Insurance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, technical implementation, or delivery management.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, and coordinating multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, particularly SME insurance, market dynamics, and operational workflows.
- Technical background in software engineering, software testing, product management, product ownership, or related technical delivery disciplines, or strong familiarity with relevant business systems and processes.
- Ability to develop engineering-ready requirements with business context, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and clearly defined scope boundaries.
- Experience designing and coordinating UAT, including requirements traceability, test execution, defect management, and documented business acceptance.
- Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, APIs, and Postman.
- Experience establishing requirements, testing, or stakeholder communication standards adopted by team members or departments.
- Experience mentoring analysts or project coordinators, influencing team roadmaps, and gaining support from senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of APIs and how distribution partnerships influence technical architecture and system design.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve requirements documentation, UAT processes, and development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and delivery coordination across concurrent initiatives involving internal business units and external distribution partners.
- Establish and maintain standards for requirements documentation, including business context, acceptance criteria, and scope boundaries.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations from planning through final release.
- Serve as a primary contact for business teams, engineering stakeholders, and external partners, resolving issues and maintaining alignment.
- Define and coordinate UAT planning, execution, requirements traceability, defect triage, and documented acceptance.
- Evaluate the effects of system and API changes on compatibility, downstream dependencies, partner workflows, and integrations.
- Identify recurring operational and technical challenges and recommend scalable process and delivery improvements.
- Mentor analysts and project coordinators, support onboarding, and share testing and domain expertise.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess team capacity, prioritize initiatives, and manage competing demands.
- Use AI tools to support requirements development, UAT, and software delivery, and identify metrics to quantify project outcomes.
