Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Bring 10+ years of business-development experience in healthcare.
- Have 3–5+ years of people-management experience, including scaling referral hunter teams that beat quota.
- Demonstrate a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals personally and while managing teams.
- Bring experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff members.
- Be proficient with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and standard office software applications.
- Infusion, pharma, and specialty pharma experience is highly preferred.
- Be located in CA, AZ, UT, or CO.
- Be willing to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to tools and resources—including playbooks, technology, and trainings—to help the organization scale.
- Help set monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and align field tactics with corporate OKRs.
- Analyze market data to prioritize expansion geographies and new service lines.
- Directly manage a team of 8–10 Business Development Reps; recruit, hire, onboard, and coach them.
- Run weekly 1:1s, account plan reviews, and trainings.
- Build relationships with specialist offices, health systems, payers, and pharma representatives and managers.
- Structure co-marketing and education programs to support brand recognition and referral pull-through.
- Coordinate with Operations to support the hand-off from referral to treatment, and share market feedback with internal teams.
- Own CRM hygiene and reporting standards; deliver territory referral-volume and revenue goals.
- Present performance insights and forecasts to executive leadership.
