Requirements
- Demonstrate design leadership and a track record of consistently delivering strong business outcomes.
- Provide 2–3 shipped case studies showing the problem, hypothesis, decisions, and measured result.
- Show outstanding visual design craft, including hierarchy, typography, motion, and attention to detail.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and videos of your work; experience with tools such as Claude or Lovable is preferred.
- Use AI tools practically on a daily basis and have experience with AI-ready design systems.
- Be fluent in Figma, including components, variables, and tokens.
- Apply product thinking using data, hypotheses, and measurements.
- Include a public portfolio website with your application.
- Experience with health, consumer, behavior-change, or regulated products is preferred.
- Experience with mobile apps, connected devices, or simple prototypes in code is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set the design direction and quality bar across the app, including new features, health insights, and early vision work.
- Define success measures for design work and own business results.
- Own the design system and maintain consistency through tokens and documented decisions.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and motion using AI tools and the design system.
- Support, coach, and unblock other designers, and give clear feedback.
- Challenge product and engineering with evidence, persuade stakeholders, and document decisions.
- Work daily with product managers and design engineers.
