Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of software development experience shipping production applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python.
- Have experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3, or equivalents.
- Understand microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Have experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Have experience with Docker and orchestration basics such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Be able to collaborate across time zones with engineers and scientists.
- Be willing to take end-to-end responsibility for features from design through production.
- Go or TypeScript knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with ML model-serving frameworks, observability tools, or infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
- Exposure to ML concepts and AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain model-serving infrastructure, deploy ML models to production endpoints, manage autoscaling, and support low-latency inference.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for model training, testing, deployment, and promotion across environments.
- Write production services in Python and Go, and infrastructure-as-code in TypeScript (CDK).
- Partner with ML scientists to turn trained models into production-grade, monitored, and maintainable services.
- Build and maintain online feature stores, inference context APIs, and data pipelines that feed production models.
- Instrument services with metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting, and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Contribute to the Model Gateway for experimentation, traffic routing, and fallback logic.
- Debug production issues, investigate performance regressions, and drive root-cause analysis.
