Requirements

  • Have built an investor network through a family office, placement, an accelerator, a fund, wealth management, or personal initiative.
  • Know investors who back US-based startups.
  • Have made 100+ introductions between companies and investors.
  • Be able to explain how you find suitable investors, start conversations, and maintain relationships.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently on calls and in writing.
  • Build trust by listening and respecting investors' time.
  • Handle confidential information with care.
  • Use Claude confidently, including connectors and MCP servers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a qualified book of investor relationships.
  • Support the senior investor team on live mandates.
  • Qualify investors for live deals.
  • Prepare briefing notes.
  • Follow up with investors on live deals.
  • Hold first conversations with investors new to Pairs.
