Requirements
- Have 8+ years of commercial backend development with Node.js in product companies; SaaS experience is preferred.
- Bring deep understanding of complex backend systems and experience designing backend architectures and technical solutions.
- Have a track record building scalable, high-performance backend systems and robust APIs.
- Have hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems, with attention to reliability, predictability, cost control, and measurable quality improvements.
- Have production experience designing multi-agent AI workflows, including orchestration logic, ReAct patterns, and supervisor-agent architectures.
- Have practical experience with modern AI frameworks.
- Have experience designing and optimizing RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases, retrieval strategies, ranking, and chunking.
- Have strong prompt engineering skills, including structured outputs, schema validation, and evaluation-based iteration.
- Understand production LLM infrastructure, including tracing and observability, evaluation frameworks, safety mechanisms, and performance and cost optimization.
- Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS, including CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ElastiCache.
- Have a good understanding of observability and debugging, such as Grafana and OpenSearch.
- Bring experience with testing, CI/CD, reliability, technical ownership, and a product-oriented mindset.
- Be fluent in Russian and have English proficiency at B2 or above.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend architecture for AI-powered automation systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Integrate and scale LLM-based product features with AI engineers and product teams.
- Implement and evolve agent-based systems, including ReAct and supervisor-agent models.
- Optimize RAG pipelines and context enrichment using structured and unstructured data.
- Develop robust APIs for internal services and external integrations.
- Establish observability, monitoring, and alerting practices using Grafana, OpenSearch, or similar tools.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and maintain technical documentation for systems and APIs.
