Demonstrated ability to understand a business or user problem and translate it into a practical technical solution.
Experience owning software through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
Ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders, ask effective questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and apply business context to technical decisions.
Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools to improve software development speed, quality, or scope.
Ability to evaluate, test, and refine AI-generated code rather than treating it as inherently correct.
Strong engineering fundamentals to use AI without compromising security, reliability, performance, or maintainability.
Experience building and maintaining production web applications.
Comfort working with modern application frameworks such as Laravel or similar.
Experience with relational databases and writing queries within and outside ORMs.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Cloudflare, or similar platforms.
Proficiency with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
Ability to troubleshoot production systems across application, data, and infrastructure layers.

Use AI-assisted development practices to prototype, validate, and ship production-ready solutions.
Work with business stakeholders and Product to understand problems, user needs, constraints, and desired outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes by engaging stakeholders, examining data, and investigating processes.
Own problems from solution definition through implementation, deployment, measurement, and iteration.
Build and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, automations, data workflows, and internal tools.
Use data, feedback, and product analytics to assess whether shipped solutions produce intended results.
Work with AWS and Cloudflare infrastructure and edge platforms.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, observability, performance, and operational practices.
Evaluate solutions by expected impact, effort, risk, and uncertainty; recommend whether to build, buy, automate, experiment, or take no action.
Design experiments, prototypes, and validation approaches to test assumptions before larger investments.
