Requirements
- Have 5 or more years of experience in fulfilment, logistics, inventory, or production.
- Have experience managing US operations, including US-based 3PLs and co-manufacturers, domestic carriers and freight, and US retail and Amazon requirements.
- Have 2 to 3 years at manager level as the main day-to-day owner of an outsourced 3PL relationship, including priorities, SLAs, stock accuracy, invoice checks, and partner accountability.
- Have 2 to 3 years at manager level as the main day-to-day owner of a co-manufacturer or contract manufacturer relationship, including production scheduling, blending, filling, packaging, quality checks, and corrective actions.
- Demonstrate independent operational ownership, such as leading a partner transition or turnaround, owning KPIs, recovering disputes or credits, or making recommendation-led escalations.
- Be confident with Cin7 or a comparable inventory system, Shopify, and 3PL warehouse management systems.
- Have multi-channel fulfilment experience across DTC, wholesale, Amazon, and US retail requirements such as routing guides, BOL, ASN, and EDI.
- Have strong reconciliation and reporting skills and excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Have clear, confident written and spoken English.
- Be available during US Eastern business hours and for regular calls with an Australia-based team outside standard hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day relationships with the 3PL and co-manufacturer, aligning priorities, confirming commitments, and holding partners accountable.
- Report on dispatches, aged orders, production, stock, forecast variances, and operational risks.
- Investigate missed commitments, drive recovery actions, and escalate capacity gaps and stockout risks.
- Turn approved production plans into daily and weekly schedules and track production units, components, and shortfalls.
- Maintain accurate Cin7 production jobs, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting records.
- Document quality complaints, gather batch records and process evidence, agree corrective actions, and verify results.
- Manage DTC, wholesale, Faire, Amazon, and retail fulfilment, keeping routing and shipment records current.
- Resolve overdue, partial, replacement, and unscanned orders; reconcile systems against physical dispatches and track freight to delivery.
- Coordinate stock counts and reconciliations, reconcile Amazon stock with Cin7, and resolve discrepancies across Cin7, warehouse systems, Shopify, and Faire.
- Check partner and freight charges, provide shipment and invoice details to Finance, improve recurring workflows, and document procedures.
