Requirements
- Have 15+ years of experience in construction project management, program management, or owner's representation.
- Demonstrate a track record managing $25M+ K-12 school construction projects.
- Bring strong working relationships with school districts, public school administrators, and education boards.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Be willing to travel to project sites as needed.
- Preferred: experience with state education department requirements, local school district standards, state construction oversight agencies, and project closeout requirements.
- Preferred: CCM, PMP, PE, RA, or LEED AP certification.
- Preferred: experience with state education facility approval processes, school district procurement processes, and education-specific building codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead new school construction, renovations, additions, athletic facilities, and bond-funded capital improvement programs from planning through closeout.
- Cultivate client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Advise owners on budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
- Navigate state education department requirements, local school district standards, and applicable construction oversight requirements.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to firm-wide knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to proposals and business development pursuits.
- Travel to project sites as needed to provide hands-on owner's representation.
