Job Details

Be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA or CA).
Audit experience is preferred.
Financial reporting and control experience outside of practice is preferred.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Have a good understanding of key financial controls.
Be comfortable using data to automate reporting and improve efficiency; SQL skills are a bonus.
Listed-company or financial-services regulated-environment experience is a plus.
US reporting or SOX compliance experience is a plus.
ESG reporting or sustainability-information audit experience, including carbon footprint or CFD/CSRD, is a plus.
Strong business partnering or commercial financial acumen is a plus.

Write insightful management commentary based on an understanding of the business and its products.
Work with engineering and data teams to automate reporting production.
Maintain relevant, scalable financial reporting policies, procedures, and controls.
Support the year-end process, draft the annual report, and work with external auditors through final sign-off.
Assess accounting for new products and contracts, and implement accounting treatment in the banking platform and accounting system.
Assess the impact of accounting-standard changes and propose accounting policies for new products.
Maintain controls that protect financial data and support balance-sheet substantiation.
Prepare monthly management and ad hoc reports, analyzing movements.
Support ESG sustainability reporting and disclosures.
Support a timely month-end close and other finance-team work, including forecasting, valuations, and tax policy research.
