Requirements
- Experience in classroom teaching, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support.
- Online instruction experience is preferred.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Have a computer (laptop or desktop) and webcam.
- Have a clean, distraction-free environment.
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps.
- Be available at least one hour Monday through Thursday between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET.
- Reside in one of the states listed in the posting.
- Complete a five-minute recorded early elementary math demonstration if requested.
- Attend at least 80% of sessions claimed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed math lessons to provide targeted support for students.
- Tutor students in math and reading using provided lesson content and practice extension materials.
- Meet with students in consistent, recurring weekly virtual sessions.
- Build professional connections with students and create an encouraging learning environment.
- Provide supportive corrections during instruction.
- Attend at least 80% of sessions claimed.
