Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8–10+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry focused on reimbursement, market access, or family services.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or developing field-based reimbursement and family access teams.
- Strong understanding of U.S. payer environments, including commercial and government plans.
- Experience working with specialty pharmacies and patient services hubs.
- Approximately 60% domestic travel based on business needs.
- MBA or RN preferred.
- Rare condition experience preferred.
- Product launch experience preferred.
- Curiosity and adaptability in adopting AI-powered tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute access and reimbursement strategy aligned with BridgeBio objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for provider-facing reimbursement and access support.
- Identify access challenges across payer environments and drive compliant solutions.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert on payer coverage, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement pathways.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Reimbursement professionals.
- Set performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development.
- Ensure consistent execution of access processes, tools, and compliance standards.
- Partner with Commercial, Medical, Family Services, Compliance, Legal, Trade, and Market Access teams.
- Share de-identified field insights on payer trends, access barriers, and process gaps.
