Requirements
- Have 3 years of experience working in schools, public health, out-of-school time, or other youth environments.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- Be familiar with grant compliance, evaluation frameworks, and outcome measurement.
- Have experience working with cross-sector partners, such as government, education, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations.
- Knowledge of public health systems, school health, or community-based programming is preferred.
- Be able and willing to travel up to 30% as needed.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strategic relationships to increase engagement with Healthier Generation initiatives and advance whole child health policies and practices.
- Identify school-community champions and collaborate with them on initiatives, deliverables, and goals.
- Convene local, state, and national partners to support awareness, advocacy, and collaboration.
- Provide coaching, consultation, technical assistance, and capacity-building on tools, resources, and best practices.
- Support school and district leadership teams with team-building, data collection and analysis, goal setting, action planning, and impact measurement.
- Report project progress and results, contribute to grant reports, and track progress using CRM and Knowi.
- Support the development, implementation, and promotion of organization-wide initiatives.
- Write or promote success stories, best practices, examples, and lessons learned.
- Foster relationships with mission-aligned partners and increase organizational awareness through verbal and digital communications.
- Support regional and national strategy and assist with concepts and proposals.
