Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and system design.
- Advanced working knowledge of Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.
- Production experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
- Experience developing front-end applications with React; Angular or Vue familiarity is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based version control workflows.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent streaming platforms.
- Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes experience in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine scalable microservices using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Write secure, well-tested production code that follows coding standards, design patterns, and security principles.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using React or equivalent frameworks.
- Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations between distributed backend systems.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and evaluate scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and cost-efficiency trade-offs.
- Profile and optimize application performance, database queries, JVM settings, and API throughput.
- Develop automated unit, integration, contract, and functional test suites.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum delivery teams and maintain technical documentation.
