Requirements
- Have built a design system or led a large React and GraphQL migration.
- Have experience with design tokens, theming, component API design, and adoption of canonical components.
- Understand GraphQL client caching and fragment colocation.
- Be able to move a complex route to a primary query with component-owned fragments.
- Have a record of driving adoption through incremental shipping, pilots, migration guides, and clear documentation.
- Be able to ramp quickly in a large codebase and distinguish canonical patterns from forks.
- Have improved CI time, type-checking, or page performance with measurable results.
- Be able to reason about dependency installation, caching, and build time.
- Use AI tools in daily software development and have a perspective on improving the software development lifecycle with AI.
- Partner with Design, Product, and engineering managers, communicate tradeoffs and status clearly, and support engineers through reviews and pairing.
Responsibilities
- Ship FinOps UI improvements that improve performance, consistency, or developer experience.
- Contribute to the design system and frontend toolchain, including CI.
- Develop technical proposals and take them through review, approval, and implementation.
- Own organization-level technical initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in quality or velocity.
- Improve frontend architecture, tooling, and the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with Design, Product, engineering managers, and staff engineers.
- Stay hands-on in feature work and product UI delivery.
- Level up other engineers through reviews and pairing.
