Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience designing and building high-quality backend systems.
- Have some understanding of Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, and CircleCI; in-depth knowledge of each is not required.
- Be motivated to build technology that supports the clean energy future.
- Ideally, have experience building systems for the assessment, development, and management of energy assets.
- Be comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
- Be able to articulate and implement solutions and develop processes that improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and maintain code primarily written in Ruby, Rails, and Hotwire.
- Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for rapidly deploying well-tested code to production.
- Solve domain problems using Rails best practices, functional principles, and service-oriented design.
- Work with the Product team to identify high-leverage solutions.
- Explore new technologies and problem spaces to shape architectural philosophy and technical direction.
- Work with founders, Product, finance, solar experts, and other engineering team members.
- Help evolve the team and its processes as Wunder grows.
