Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
- Experience with Windows server administration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with STIGs, SCAP, ACAS vulnerability scanning, and PKI certificate management.
- Experience monitoring system performance and capacity across on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments.
- Understanding of operating system patching, security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Experience with Control-M, Track-It, or EWM/RTC is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support approximately 34 servers, primarily running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, along with a smaller number of Windows servers.
- Perform quarterly and annual security compliance activities involving SCAP and STIGs.
- Manage PKI certificates by tracking expirations, coordinating renewals, and installing certificates on web servers and Oracle applications.
- Execute and track weekly ACAS vulnerability scans, follow up on findings, and support remediation.
- Monitor operating system and middleware resource utilization, assess capacity requirements, and help plan infrastructure expansions.
- Apply operating system security patches, updates, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance across operating systems and AWS infrastructure, identify issues, and support optimization.
- Respond to audit requests by providing technical information and supporting compliance activities.
- Coordinate with data center personnel to resolve SLDCADA-related networking, systems, security, and user-access issues.
- Provide technical assistance to development, customer support, and database teams, and support projects with external partners.
