Requirements
- Have 5+ years in a client-facing technical role, such as forward deployed engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting.
- Have 7-8+ total years of experience working in software engineering and/or solutions consulting.
- Demonstrate ownership of strategic deployments end to end, from technical win to production.
- Bring production Python experience, including the Pandas data manipulation ecosystem.
- Have deep experience with SQL and hands-on experience integrating and reasoning about REST APIs.
- Have experience building and deploying on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have experience across multiple technology stacks, coding languages, frameworks, and systems.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude, or similar, daily.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers, analysts, and senior leaders.
- Have a technical bachelor's or master's degree.
- Be available for 25 to 30% combined travel and in-office time.
Responsibilities
- Design and run demos, proofs of concept, and trials using customer data, and define and meet success criteria.
- Build agents, tools, and integrations on Sayari’s agentic platform in customer environments, taking them from trial to production.
- Ship production Python, SQL, and integrations into customer persistence layers and analytics stacks.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for accounts and brief executives, analysts, and mission owners on outcomes.
- Determine what is bespoke, reusable, or appropriate for the platform; document capability gaps and drive them into the roadmap.
- Set delivery standards and review work for other engineers on assigned accounts.
