Requirements
- Have 4+ years of professional experience as a DBA or Database Reliability Engineer.
- Have strong experience with Big Data.
- Have deep expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB, including replication, backup tooling, and performance tuning.
- Have production experience with Redis, including persistence, replication, and Sentinel or Cluster.
- Have production experience with ClickHouse or another columnar database.
- Have experience designing high availability and disaster recovery for databases.
- Have solid Linux skills and scripting experience with Bash and Python.
- Have experience with database monitoring and alerting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize production PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, ClickHouse, and Redis databases.
- Ensure high availability, replication, backup, and recovery across database engines.
- Run disaster recovery tests and meet backup and recovery compliance controls.
- Tune queries, indexes, configuration, and resource limits.
- Manage ClickHouse replication, query limits, and workload isolation for analytics.
- Operate Redis persistence, replication, and failover for caching and real-time workloads.
- Plan capacity and storage growth.
- Automate database operations with infrastructure-as-code.
- Review schema changes and migrations with engineering teams and support cloud migrations.
- Participate in on-call and incident response.
