- Hold EPIC Certification/Accreditation.
- With a bachelor's degree, have 5 years of experience in clinical application support or healthcare information technology.
- With an associate's degree, have 7 years of experience in clinical application support or healthcare information technology.
- Without a degree, have 9 years of experience in clinical application support or healthcare information technology.
- A bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, information technology, or informatics is desired.
Responsibilities
- Define system objectives, requirements, scope, and impact based on clinical operations needs.
- Develop or modify clinical information technology procedures to solve complex healthcare problems.
- Consider computer equipment capacity and current system or network limitations.
- Analyze and revise existing system logic and document outcomes.
- Study clinical information technology system needs, investigate solutions, and present recommendations to leadership or operational stakeholders.
- Serve as team lead when assigned by leadership.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and mitigate and resolve issues.
- Liaise with technology system vendors, physicians, and clinical operations leaders.
