Requirements
- Have experience fundraising in technology start-ups or scale-ups.
- Have experience working with VC investors.
- Have proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial role in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B/enterprise SaaS environment.
- Bring experience in businesses operating across the Atlantic.
- Hold relevant financial qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Understand financial regulations, corporate financial law, and risk management practices.
- Have excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Be able to set financial strategy and execute it hands-on.
- Have strong leadership and organisational skills and the ability to manage complex financial operations.
- Live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, risk management, and accounting practices in line with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth, innovation, and financial health.
- Guide the executive team in financial decision-making with insights and analysis.
- Support fundraising activities and foster relationships with investors, banks, and other financial partners.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain financial records in the UK and the US.
- Advance the company’s financial maturity.
- Improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
