Requirements
- Significant experience in instructional design, learning experience design, training development, educational technology, or a related field.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching design professionals or content development teams.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning development.
- Experience reviewing learning materials and providing detailed feedback on instructional effectiveness, visual design, accessibility, usability, and technical quality.
- Experience managing multiple projects, balancing team capacity, prioritizing requests, and delivering work within established timelines.
- Ability to evaluate business needs and recommend learning solutions based on complexity, urgency, scalability, and expected impact.
- Experience with e-learning development tools, digital learning platforms, and multimedia learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, content structure, learner experience, and accessibility.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, designers, developers, and operational leaders.
- Strong coaching, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent English and ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; additional knowledge in areas such as learning sciences, UX design, accessibility, or organizational development is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Learning Experience Designers and Content Developers.
- Establish and maintain instructional, visual design, accessibility, and technical quality standards for learning materials.
- Review learning assets and provide actionable feedback on instructional effectiveness, usability, and learner experience.
- Manage team workload, project priorities, resource allocation, and deadlines.
- Guide the selection of learning solutions, including e-learning, videos, job aids, performance support, and supervisor-led coaching.
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to align learning solutions with operational needs and business objectives.
- Drive the evolution toward a scalable, capability-based learning model that embeds learning into everyday work.
- Promote learning technologies, innovative design practices, and AI tools to improve development efficiency and learning outcomes.
- Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices for consistency and scalability.
- Evaluate and improve learning processes, content quality, and business performance.
