- At least 7 years of relevant experience in technical engineering, scientific computing, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or advanced software development.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing technical teams and coordinating assignments to meet quality and schedule expectations.
- Strong expertise in C/C++, with experience in additional programming languages such as Python, Rust, Julia, Fortran, MATLAB/Octave, or hardware description languages.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux environments, command-line tools, and terminal-based development and debugging workflows.
- Hands-on experience in at least one major technical domain, such as parallel computing, systems programming, scientific software development, circuit simulation, signal processing, power systems, or digital hardware design.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, computational systems, numerical methods, software testing, and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience reviewing complex codebases, engineering simulations, technical implementations, or research outputs.
- Ability to assess computational performance, algorithmic correctness, numerical accuracy, concurrency, system reliability, and edge cases.
- Experience with parallel or HPC technologies such as MPI, OpenMP, or CUDA is preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering development tools, simulation tools, Docker, Git, CI/CD, or automated testing frameworks is preferred.
- Experience developing technical benchmarks, programming challenges, simulation-based evaluations, or automated grading systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and onboard approximately 5–10 technical trainers; allocate assignments, monitor productivity, resolve blockers, and review performance.
- Oversee the task lifecycle, reviewing problem statements, codebases, circuit netlists, HDLs, datasets, computational environments, reference solutions, and automated tests.
- Assess tasks across computer science, scientific computing, and electrical engineering domains, including HPC, parallel computing, systems, circuit design, and embedded systems.
- Verify algorithmic correctness, computational complexity, numerical precision, memory management, concurrency behavior, circuit laws, timing constraints, and system stability.
- Validate compilers, simulation tools, dependencies, build processes, and computational environments for consistent and reproducible execution.
- Review automated tests, graders, and evaluation criteria for meaningful technical outcomes.
- Identify reliability issues such as nondeterministic tests, race conditions, simulation convergence problems, incorrect tolerances, and flawed assumptions.
- Provide actionable technical feedback, track revisions, and ensure issues are resolved before final approval.
- Develop technical guidelines, review criteria, documentation, and best practices.
- Improve task creation and evaluation workflows and contribute to benchmarks for AI training and assessment.
