Job Details

Bring 8+ years of product design experience.
Have led complex software projects from early exploration through launch and iteration.
Provide a portfolio of shipped work demonstrating interaction design and visual craft.
Show examples of making sophisticated workflows easier to understand and use.
Guide decisions with structured thinking, clearly articulated rationale, and user-centered research.
Turn ambiguous problems in complex systems into simple solutions with clear goals.
Have experience researching, prototyping, or building products with AI and other emerging tools.
Experience with creative tools, editors, canvas interfaces, or rich direct-manipulation interactions is a plus.
A design/development hybrid background, experience building websites or apps, or work with canvas-based creative tools is a plus.
Code-based prototyping, front-end development, or workflows connecting design and implementation are a plus.

Lead design of core editor experiences, including Auto Layout, Text, and canvas interactions, from opportunity identification through prototyping, shipping, and iteration.
Define and champion a vision for the editor’s evolution, translating it into proposals, design principles, and priorities with product and engineering partners.
Explore how direct manipulation, AI, and code can work together through prototypes that let people generate, edit, and refine work while retaining creative control.
Use user research, product data, and observation of how people create to test assumptions and refine design decisions.
Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and share best practices across teams.
