Requirements
- Be an active-duty military service member within the final 180 days of active-duty service; applications are accepted within the final 12 months.
- Have program/project experience and a technical background.
- Commit to learning HII standards and skills in program and project management.
- PMP/PMI certification is preferred.
- DAWIA Level 3 certification is preferred.
- 10-15+ years of program management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Train in program management principles, technologies, and core operational functions.
- Support assigned special projects.
- Learn to track cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs.
- Learn schedule, performance, and risk identification and mitigation for program initiatives.
- Train on program operations to help meet production schedules and use system resources efficiently.
- Learn program phases from inception through completion.
- Coordinate resolutions to production-related problems.
- Learn how operations supports business development, capture management, and proposals.
