Requirements
- Have at least eight years of experience working with data.
- Have two years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Have experience with dbt; dbt is a must.
- Have experience with common analytics tooling such as Stitch or Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, Airflow or Dagster, and Looker, Mode, or Sigma.
- Bring a system-oriented and software engineering mindset to Analytics Engineering.
- Have deep knowledge of crafting dimensional and fact models in modern data fashion.
- Be open to using AI to amplify skills and strengthen work, with curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data models for dashboards, self-serve analytics, and data science teams.
- Write tuned, scalable SQL queries over large-scale, heterogeneous data warehouses.
- Enable AI tooling with semantic layers and observability, and guide analytics functions on best practices.
- Manage and improve data infrastructure for data-driven decision-making.
- Help develop front-end applications that expose analytical datasets enterprise-wide.
- Work with Product and Corporate Engineering system teams to structure source systems for enterprise reporting.
