Requirements
- Understand cloud architecture and products such as OCI, AWS, and Azure.
- Explain cloud components, data flows, trust boundaries, and shared responsibility across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Translate architecture into security posture implications, risks, and recommended controls for enterprise clients.
- Have experience in security consulting, cloud security architecture, or enterprise risk/GRC in regulated industries.
- Hold at least one security certification: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or ISO 27001 LI/LA.
- Have experience resolving complex escalations and providing cross-functional leadership in matrixed organizations.
- Know client security assurance processes, including questionnaires, audit requests, penetration-test coordination, and attestations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary security contact for assigned strategic and key clients.
- Build relationships with client security leadership, IT, risk and compliance teams, and engineers.
- Lead recurring security management activities, including security reviews, risk discussions, and action-plan alignment.
- Analyze client environments, threat models, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
- Advise clients on cloud security controls and practices, including IAM/SSO/MFA, least privilege, encryption, network segmentation, monitoring, vulnerability management, configuration standards, and secure SDLC.
- Work with internal security specialists to resolve complex issues such as cryptography, KMS/HSM, workload isolation, data localization, and Zero Trust.
