- Have worked as a software engineer.
- Bring a strong track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams.
- Have experience hiring and retaining engineering talent.
- Show a passion for modern software engineering and continuous improvement.
- Be confident working across varied systems, technologies, and product landscapes.
- Bring a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset and bias toward action.
- Be able to simplify complexity and help teams move with confidence.
- Value experimentation, fast feedback, and learning through iteration.
- Have English, listed as a required skill.
- AWS and TypeScript experience would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support globally distributed teams of around 20–30 software engineers.
- Inspire engineers to grow, learn, and develop their skills.
- Remove blockers and create an environment that supports autonomy, trust, and collaboration.
- Balance delivery speed with engineering excellence and compliance expectations.
- Help teams focus on meaningful outcomes.
- Champion modern engineering practices, cloud-native thinking, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Drive adoption of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and support high-performing scrum teams.
- Work with Product, Delivery, and Engineering leaders to shape what teams build and how they build it.
