Requirements
- Bring a strong customer service background.
- Listen with empathy and answer questions clearly and confidently, in writing and by phone.
- Be detail-oriented and able to solve problems while helping members navigate their plans.
- Adapt to a fast-moving, changing environment and stay steady when things shift.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims processing is a plus.
- Familiarity with ticketing or chat support tools is a plus.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Have a reliable, stable high-speed internet connection.
- Have a private, quiet, distraction-free workspace suitable for confidential member calls.
- Give uninterrupted attention to member calls and chats throughout scheduled shifts and training hours.
- Attend the full four-week paid training period.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and chats from members with questions about their Benefit Amount, plan benefits, and getting money back when they choose lower-cost care.
- Resolve member issues and complaints with empathy and accuracy.
- Build rapport with members by listening carefully and meeting them where they are.
- Follow established policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records.
- Support process improvements as the member base and product evolve.
- Take on expanded responsibilities across claims or member escalations as you grow within the team.
